THE REVOLUTION COMPOUNDING AND POLISHING PADS cut faster and consume less material than conventional and "waffle" type pads. Centrifugal forces throw compound out from under other pads, wasting material and making buffing a messy process. By employing a configuration of unique sub-surface channels, called "TRC’s", and extremely durable, high quality polyester foams, Autovations has achieved the ultimate design in foam buffing pads. The TRC’s keep more of the polishing medium under the working surface of the pad by "capturing" polishing compounds. With just a slight downward pressure on the pad, the captured compound is instantly released under the working surface. The wiping action of the TRC’s distributes compound over the surface being polished, minimizing slinging and reducing buffing times. These incredible subsurface features also draw airflow over the surface of the pad, allowing the polished surface to remain cooler, reducing the chances of burn through.

THE REVOLUTION COMPOUNDING PAD #CP2200, with its larger, more open foam cell structure and unique TRC’s, is designed for initial buffing and removal of ultra fine sanding scratches or heavy oxidation.
